Introduction to My Mission
"Simple Foam Healed a Four-Year Ulcer"
"For four years, I suffered from chronic, painful Venous Leg Ulcer. I saw countless specialists who suggested drastic surgeries. The solution was surprisingly simple: Dr. Sladen's unconventional method using targeted compression and a simple piece of latex foam. My ulcers were completely healed in just 14 days and remained healed for 40 Years! This simple Vascular Pump changed my life."

Welcome to Legulcers.ca
We are glad you found us. Legulcers.ca was created out of a simple, crucial need: to share accessible, understandable, and well-researched information about venous ulcers from the perspective of people who truly understand them.

Our core mission is to empower individuals living with venous ulcers by providing a reliable source of information. We are dedicated to:
Educating: Breaking down complex medical terminology into clear, useful knowledge.
Keeping Up-to-Date: Tracking the latest advancements in venous ulcer treatments, procedures, and self-care techniques.
Building Community: Sharing practical tips, resources, and insights gained from our own lived experiences with this persistent condition.
Who We Are
We are not medical professionals, doctors, nurses, or specialists.
We are simply patients—individuals who have personally navigated the challenges, pain, frustration, and recovery associated with venous leg ulcers. We share the same condition, wear the same compression, and have faced the same struggles you likely have.
This shared experience drives us to sift through medical journals and reliable sources to bring you information that is relevant and easy to digest. We believe that informed patients are better advocates for their own health and can work more effectively with their healthcare teams.
IMPORTANT MEDICAL DISCLAIMER

Care and Maintenance
Odor: New latex foam may have a "botanical" scent. This is normal and typically dissipates within a few days of unboxing.
Direct Sunlight: Do not expose the foam core to direct sunlight, as UV rays will cause the cellular structure of the latex to break down and crumble.
Moisture: Do not saturate the foam with water or harsh chemicals.
